Spend quality time in Algonquin Park with opportunities to share a variety of experiences with like minded, interesting people from fifty years onward. Our resident chef provides excellent nutritious meals.
Cheerful, helpful staff offer experiences in a variety of activities! Special guest speakers present topics relevant to the flora, fauna and history of Algonquin Park. Accommodation is provided in a variety of heated camp buildings on our private lake. We invite you to come and share a memorable time.
On a small lake all on its own, in the heart of Algonquin Park, Tanamakoon offers a peaceful setting for participants who want to enjoy a week in the outdoors.

Fall Art Program
The Tanamakoon Outdoor Centre invites you to join in a week long art program in the wilds of Algonquin Park. This seven day course will offer participants the opportunity to develop their artistic skills in the out of doors under the one to one supervision of an exceptionally talented artist! Tanamakoon is located on its own lake fifteen miles inside of the west gates of Algonquin. The quiet northern oasis will offer incredible opportunities for both scenic and wildlife art. The fall colour can be spectacular at this time of year and will add a unique and special ambience for every artist.
