SPECIALIZED ART PROGRAM
Our Specialized Art Camp is the perfect place for young artists to discover, create, and express themselves through a variety of visual arts. With guidance from a professional instructor, campers explore new techniques, experiment with different mediums, and develop their artistic voice—all while enjoying the fun and friendships of camp life.
What to Expect
- Daily Studio Time – Hands-on instruction in drawing, painting, and mixed media.
- Creative Exploration – Opportunities to experiment with different art mediums
- Art History & Inspiration – Fun lessons on famous artists, movements, and styles to spark ideas- specifically the Group of Seven artists who painted in Algonquin Park.
- Special Projects – Collaborative murals, themed challenges, and personal art portfolios.
- Field Trip– Our young artists will get to visit the Algonquin Park Art Gallery, along with a guided tour on Canoe Lake where Tom Thomson spent a lot of time painting.
